Pre vs Post- Ascalon
I have played my character Ele/Mes until i get up level 7 ... I haven't finished all the quest in 2yearbefore Ascalon, then my friend only level 3, he moves up to 2 yearslater Ascalon and get new item, weapon, and much more exp quest.
So ... wat 's different between me and him? Could I get extra skill or extra weapon if i keep playing in old world? He doesn't need to discover whole world of 2yearbefore Ascalon ... ?
Interesting question huh

What you get is a much greater benefit from quests and missions in post searing than he does, seeing as you've used up a lot of the grind levels.

i enjoy staying in pre-searing because the quests you gain are VERY helpful. However, I would guess that it is probably best, statistically at least, to play in Searing(or the 2 year later) because the magic finds and the loot you find there are at least 2x better than that which you find in Pre-Searing. But I love pre-searing because it is just such a nice place. If you want to reach lvl 20 in 3 days, go to Searing ascalon ASAP. If you want to have a good time and have an actual appreciation for the wonderful graphics and environments in Guild Wars, then please, join me before the Searing.

i have another question, assume we have 10 skills, my friend 's only level 3, then he goes to Searing ... He currently doesn't have the skill named BackFire which is got from Wizard Folly from 2 NPC (i don't remember their name). So how could he get that skill? is it impossible?

Yeah seriously. Time Travel? come on - that's totally unrealistic. I mean spells can do a lot of different things, but TIME TRAVEL? No way mister, I think your pushing it with that crazy idea.

You can buy any skill you missed in pre-sear for 10g post-sear. There is no reason to stay in pre-sear, there's nothing there you can't get post-sear.

25% of the base damage goes through armour without any reduction.

Ignores 25% of the enemies armour meaning you can do more damage to high armoured enemies like warriors. Not as effective on mages.
